Reviews
“I’m not a nominator for the BMA awards, but if I was, this is the record of the year.”
Blues Bytes Pick Hit --Kyle Deibler
“Time Brings About a Change…A Floyd Dixon Celebration is certainly that. A celebration of a wonderful man and pianist who over the years graced us with his presence and his amazing interpretation of the blues.”
Blues Bytes Pick Hit --Kyle Deibler
“This is a record that 20 years from now will still stand the test of time and it’s a wonderful tribute to Floyd Dixon.”

“This is an old fashioned blues review with everyone bringing their “A” game…”
Bad Dog Blues Website --Jeff Harris
“West coast soul singer John Tucker gets the party started with the high octane, gritty soul of “Do You Wanna Dance” sounding like a modern day Otis Redding.”
Blues Bytes Pick Hit --Kyle Deibler
“You simply couldn’t ask for a more fitting tribute to Dixon’s memory than “Time Brings About A Change—A Floyd Dixon Celebration” which finds a true blues legend going out in top form.”

“It just happens to be one of those discs that seems to find a CD player where ever I am. I like it a lot and will be giving it plenty of air time.”
--Algis Jonusas, Blues Program Director at WRHC, Michigan
“The disc is a jump blues heaven with all those great musicians paying respect to their music…If this will not be “the blues CD of the year” I don’t know any other album that deserves the title more.”
--Przemek Draheim, Radio Sfera, Poland
“I couldn’t help to find myself watery-eyed at the last selection, “So Long”. It takes a hell of a man to say a final goodbye like that.”
--Walter Upchurch, Foundation for the Preservation of 40’s -60’s Dance Music

I had a chance to see Floyd in San Diego at a festival. I really liked his performance. Fine, fine thing is indeed a fine, fine cd. I am looking forward to seeing Floyd live in performance again…

Greetings from Blues Summit on WMWV in Conway, NH. I have played Floyd on the show on many occasions in the past. In particular, the 1996 "Wake Up and Live!" on Alligator. I debuted "Fine! Fine! Thing!" on the show last night. We will have fun with it. Question: Will Floyd be doing phone interviews? Love to have him on.
